About Me

From a young age, I’ve been curious about people’s stories and passionate about helping others see that their upbringing doesn’t have to define their future. Growing up in the Bronx as an Afro-Latina and first-generation Dominican American shaped how I hold both the beauty and the challenges of our lived experiences, and deepened my belief in the possibility of generational healing. It’s an honor to serve my community in this way.

For over 14 years, I’ve supported individuals and families through different seasons of life. Along the way, I’ve seen that while our early experiences shape us, we have the power to rewrite our stories. This became especially clear in my work with justice-involved teens and their families, where I witnessed incredible resilience and the courage it takes to break long-standing cycles. When people are met with empathy and offered a safe space to reflect, they can begin to unlearn harmful narratives and build healthier ways of relating—to themselves and to others.

A few fun facts:
Those closest to me know me as a foodie (especially when shrimp is involved), someone who values laughter, leads with authenticity, and believes in telling the truth with compassion—even when it’s hard.
